Ghost of Kershaw County

Located on the backroads of Kershaw County, you may stumble across the old Cool Springs Plantation. The plantation was built back in the mid 1800′s by the Boykin Family. The plantation was owned up until the 1970′s by the family. Somewhere along the line, a man by the name of Dixie Boykin somehow held ownership of the plantation. There was no exact reason given for his cause of death. Dixie was ‘fond’ of wine and, if you visit the plantation, always set out a glass of wine for the former farmer. Other things menitoned were seeing a man in early 1900′s attire as well as hearing music from the same era.
